GDF Suez, Sumitomo in first Kuwaiti IWPP
The consortium, which also includes Kuwaiti firm Abdullah Hamad Al Sagar & Brothers, has won the first independent water and power project in the country. The project will account for 12% of Kuwait’s power generation capacity and 23% of its installed desalination capability.
